Grype Imports Not Populating Finding Tags on First Import: Issue Observed with Tagging on Reimport

Has anyone else noticed grype imports not populating finding tags on the first import? What I am observing:

I see some tag related changes in 2.57, but it looks like they're focused on reimport where our issue is on the initial import.
