confirmed issue no longer exists in 2.57.1
Happy to try it out in our staging env if you think it will fix.
I see some tag related changes in 2.57, but it looks like they're focused on reimport where our issue is on the initial import.

Has anyone else noticed grype imports not populating finding tags on the first import? What I am observing:
first test imported - no tags on any findings
first reimport - no tags on existing findings, but tags are on new findings
