Clarification on Recent Change in Deduplication Scope from Engagement to Product Level

Hello folks, is it possible that before the default scope for deduplication was at the engagement level and now is product (changed recently) or am I just confused?

for what I know, the default was deduplication at product level, unless you check the 'Deduplication within this engagement only' in you engagement setting.

This may sound weird but I hope you're just confused as we didn't intend to change the dedupe scope 😄

so Valentijn S. if this sounds weird then it has always been Product scoped unless it needs to be be within the engagement (with the setting as per above). I suppose that means I was confused then yeh...
